Expert Settings Overview

Evomi Residential Proxies offer advanced filtering parameters to fine-tune your proxy connections. These expert settings enable precise IP selection but incur additional bandwidth consumption due to increased filtering complexity.

Bandwidth Multiplier System

Each expert parameter adds a multiplier to your bandwidth usage:

  • Per-parameter multipliers: Added cumulatively
  • Maximum cap: 15x total multiplier
Total Bandwidth Deducted = Actual Bandwidth × (Σ Multipliers)

Example Calculation

Parameters Used Total Multiplier 1MB Transfer Cost
1 Parameter (4x) 4x 4MB
1 Parameter1 (2x) + Parameter2 (3x) 5x 5MB
5 parameters totaling 20x 15x (capped) 15MB

Critical Implementation Notes

  1. Multipliers apply per request
  2. Combination order doesn’t affect calculation
  3. Dashboard shows actual vs. multiplied usage breakdown
  4. Enterprise customers may receive customized multiplier values

Use these filters by appending them to your proxy password:

Latency Filter _latency-<ms> Maximum network latency (e.g., _latency-500)
Fraudscore Filter _fraudscore-<score> Maximum scamalytics.com score (e.g., _fraudscore-10)
Device Filter _device-<type> OS/device type: windows, unix, or apple
Connection Stability _activesince-<minutes> Minimum IP connection duration (e.g., _activesince-120)
ISP Filter _isp-<provider> Specific internet provider (e.g., _isp-comcast)
ASN Filter _asn-<number> Autonomous System Number filter (e.g., _asn-AS7922)
Extended Pool _extended-1 Access 3x larger IP pool (cannot combine with other filters)
