Proxifier on Windows
This guide explains how to configure Proxifier on Windows to route application traffic through Evomi proxies. Proxifier intercepts network connections from any application and tunnels them through a proxy server without requiring the application to have native proxy support.

- Proxifier installed on your Windows machine
- An active Evomi proxy subscription
- Your Evomi proxy credentials (username and password)
Step-by-Step Configuration Permalink to Step-by-Step Configuration
1. Launch Proxifier Permalink to 1. Launch Proxifier
Open Proxifier from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
2. Add a New Proxy Server Permalink to 2. Add a New Proxy Server
- Go to Profile > Proxy Servers….
- Click the Add button.
3. Enter Evomi Proxy Details Permalink to 3. Enter Evomi Proxy Details
In the Proxy Server window:
- Address:
rp.evomi.com - Port:
1002(for SOCKS5) or1000(for HTTP) - Protocol: Select SOCKS Version 5 or HTTP to match the port
4. Enable Authentication Permalink to 4. Enable Authentication
- Check Enable under Authentication.
- Enter your Evomi Username and Password.
Your password should include your desired session and mode parameters:
yourpassword_session-123456_mode-qualityReplace yourpassword with your actual password and 123456 with any session identifier.
5. Test the Proxy Server Permalink to 5. Test the Proxy Server
- Click the Check button to verify connectivity.
- If the test succeeds, click OK to save.
6. Configure Proxification Rules Permalink to 6. Configure Proxification Rules
- Go to Profile > Proxification Rules….
- Create a new rule or modify an existing one:
- Applications: Specify the applications to route through the proxy
- Target Hosts: Define specific domains or IP addresses (or leave as any)
- Action: Select Proxy and choose the Evomi proxy you added
- Click OK to save.
7. Verify Permalink to 7. Verify
- Open a browser and navigate to
https://ip.evomi.com/s. - The displayed IP should be the proxy IP, not your real IP.

HTTPS endpoints use the evomi-proxy.com domain — that is the hostname our TLS certificate covers, and it reaches the same servers. A client that verifies certificates will reject the evomi.com form on the HTTPS port.
Proxy Modes Permalink to Proxy Modes
Evomi residential proxies support different modes to optimize for your use case. Append the mode parameter to your password:

- Incorrect credentials: Double-check your username and password, including the
_mode-parameter. - Connection issues: Ensure your firewall or antivirus is not blocking Proxifier.
- Authentication failed: Verify the password includes the correct mode suffix.
- Switching modes: Change the
_mode-parameter in your password (mode-speed,mode-standard,mode-quality). - Restart applications: After changing proxy settings, restart applications to ensure they pick up the new configuration.
