Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our FAQ section! Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions our customers ask. These answers are designed to provide quick solutions and help you better understand our proxy services.

Pricing and Plans

What’s the difference between Core Residential and Premium Residential proxies?

Core Residential Proxies:

  • Cost-effective at $0.49/GB
  • High-quality for general tasks
  • Standard proxy pool size
  • [NEW] Expert Settings: TCP/IP fingerprinting, latency filter and more (increases bandwidth usage)

Premium Residential Proxies:

  • Starts at $2.20/GB for advanced needs
  • Includes extras like a double-sized proxy pool, inbuilt ISP selection, adblocker, etc.

Both provide HTTPS & SOCKS5 support, 99.9% uptime, and dedicated support for reliable and high-quality service.

What are Static Residential Proxies and what categories do you offer?

We offer Static Residential Proxies in three distinct categories, each with different pricing and availability:

Virgin Static Residential:

  • Dedicated IPs that have never been sold as proxies before
  • Highest quality and reliability
  • Premium pricing due to their pristine status

Private Static Residential:

  • Dedicated IPs that were previously sold but have expired from the old customer
  • Good quality at a more affordable price point
  • Still dedicated to you once purchased

Shared Static Residential:

  • IPs shared with up to 3 customers maximum
  • Most cost-effective option
  • Shared usage while maintaining quality

Important purchasing details:

  • Each category has a minimum quantity requirement - you cannot buy less than the minimum
  • When Private or other categories are out of stock, you need to wait for them to come back into stock
  • You can resell them via our API if required
  • After your first month, you can renew for as long as you want and keep the same IP addresses

What is your IP replacement policy for Static Residential Proxies?

We have a strict but fair replacement policy for Static Residential Proxies:

We provide replacements only if IPs don’t meet our quality claims:

  • We use IPQualityScore.com to measure fraud scores
  • Replacements are provided if IPs don’t meet our advertised quality standards

We do NOT provide replacements for:

  • IPs that don’t work for your specific use case
  • IPs that get banned after a few days or weeks of use
  • General compatibility issues with particular websites or services

This policy ensures we maintain high-quality IP pools while setting clear expectations about proxy performance and longevity.

Why don’t you offer unlimited bandwidth proxies?

Unlimited residential plans with unlimited bandwidth and an unlimited IP pool do exist, but they come with a catch—those IPs are heavily overused, repeatedly resold, and often flagged, making them unreliable. Providers offering such plans are just trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of already-exploited IPs. We prioritize quality and reliability, which is why we don’t operate that way.

Do you provide enterprise pricing and features?

Yes, we offer enterprise solutions with custom commitment contracts. For enterprise customers, we can provide:

  • Special pricing - Volume discounts based on your usage requirements
  • Custom features - Tailored functionality to meet your specific needs
  • Service Level Agreements (SLA) - Guaranteed uptime and performance metrics

Proxy Sessions

What are the different types of sessions available?

Let me give you a quick rundown of sessions. You can also check our Proxy Sessions Documentation.

_session: Creates a sticky session

  • Example: http://rp.evomi.com:1000:username:password_session-sgn34f3e
  • Keeps the same IP for 20 minutes
  • You can call the session anytime in those 20 minutes and receive the same IP

_lifetime: Extends/Shortens the duration of the sticky session

  • Example: http://rp.evomi.com:1000:username:password_session-sgn34f3e_lifetime-120
  • _lifetime-120 sets session duration to 120 minutes (maximum is 1440 which equals 24 hours)

_hardsession: Ensures the IP does not change for as long as possible

  • Example: http://rp.evomi.com:1000:username:password_hardsession-JS9nsq2n
  • No automatic rotation; the IP remains as long as possible (e.g., until the device disconnects)

No session parameter: IP changes with every new request

  • Example: http://rp.evomi.com:1000:username:password
  • Each request receives a new IP

Need on-demand IP rotation?

If you prefer to control session/IP changes programmatically rather than relying on fixed time durations, you have two options:

  1. Change the Session ID of your string by using random 6–10 character strings (e.g., _session-abc1234) to trigger a fresh IP
  2. Use our Rotation API to instantly rotate the IP of an existing session without changing the session ID

Payment and Billing

My card was declined when trying to recharge. What should I do?

If your card is declined when recharging your balance, first ensure that your card is funded, as insufficient funds can lead to a transaction being declined. The card from your last subscription payment is used for top-ups.

If you encounter persistent issues and there are no errors from the bank, we can cancel your current subscription, and you can resubscribe with a different card. Your current balance will be added on top of the new balance.

I entered my card details but haven’t received anything yet. What’s happening?

Most likely your order is in a waiting state. Our payment provider PayPro Global is verifying your purchase. Please check your email 📧 inbox - you might need to reply to them.

We cannot speed up this process, but you can contact PayPro Global 24/7:

  • Toll-free: +1-888-317-4868
  • International: +1-647-977-7769
  • Email: Reply to any email you received from them

My order shows as void or cancelled. What does this mean?

If your order is void or cancelled, it means that PayPro Global has rejected the transaction. This can be caused by several factors:

  • Inaccurate billing information - Incorrect billing address, name, or other details
  • Using a VPN during the payment process
  • Payment method issues - Card verification failures or security concerns

What you can do:

  • Contact PayPro Global by replying to their email and asking for help with your specific case
  • Ensure all billing details exactly match your payment method
  • Try the payment process without using a VPN
  • Alternative: You can always purchase with cryptocurrency at any time, which bypasses these verification issues

Can I get the Core Residential subscription ($0.49/GB for 100GB) with cryptocurrency?

No, this is not possible. The Core Residential subscription with unlimited top-ups at $0.49/GB is only available through traditional payment methods (credit/debit cards).

Why subscriptions aren’t available with crypto:

  • The subscription model can only be so affordable because it’s a recurring subscription
  • Cryptocurrency payments don’t support automatic recurring billing
  • Without the subscription model, we cannot offer the same pricing structure

Your crypto options:

  • Pay-as-you-go plans - Available with cryptocurrency at standard rates
  • One-time purchases - Buy credits in advance using crypto

The subscription pricing is specifically designed around the predictable revenue model that only traditional payment methods can provide.

How does bandwidth renewal work with subscriptions?

When you have an active subscription, your bandwidth operates on a renewal cycle that resets at your renewal date:

At renewal date, your bandwidth will be set to either:

  • Your subscription amount (e.g., 100GB) - if your subscription is set to renew and payment succeeds
  • 0GB - if your subscription fails to renew or payment is declined

Important note about additional bandwidth: Any extra bandwidth you purchase will also expire at your renewal date.

Example scenario:

  • You have a 100GB subscription
  • You buy 200GB extra bandwidth 2 days before your renewal date
  • At renewal: Your bandwidth resets to 100GB (your subscription amount)
  • The unused portion of the extra 200GB bandwidth expires and is lost

Best practice: Plan your additional bandwidth purchases carefully. If you’re close to your renewal date, consider waiting until after renewal to purchase extra bandwidth, or use it quickly before the renewal date.

This renewal system ensures clean billing cycles and prevents bandwidth accumulation across billing periods.
