# Expert Settings Overview

Evomi Residential Proxies offer advanced filtering parameters to fine-tune your proxy connections. These expert settings enable precise IP selection but incur **additional bandwidth consumption** due to increased filtering complexity.

**Note:** Expert settings are only available for **Core Residential Proxies**.

## Bandwidth Multiplier System
Each expert parameter adds a multiplier to your bandwidth usage:
- **Per-parameter multipliers**: Added cumulatively
- **Maximum cap**: 15x total multiplier

Total Bandwidth Deducted = Actual Bandwidth × (Σ Multipliers)
```

### Example Calculation
| Parameters Used          | Total Multiplier | 1MB Transfer Cost |
|--------------------------|------------------|-------------------|
| 1 Parameter (4x)     | 4x               | 4MB               |
| 1 Parameter1 (2x) + Parameter2 (3x) | 5x | 5MB |
| 5 parameters totaling 20x | 15x (capped) | 15MB |

**Critical Implementation Notes**  
1. Multipliers apply **per request**  
2. Combination order doesn't affect calculation  
3. Dashboard shows actual vs. multiplied usage breakdown  
4. Enterprise customers may receive customized multiplier values

## Available Expert Parameters
Use these filters by appending them to your proxy password:

| **Latency Filter**        | `_latency-<ms>`               | Maximum network latency (e.g., `_latency-500`)                             |
| **Fraudscore Filter**     | `_fraudscore-<score>`         | Maximum scamalytics.com score (e.g., `_fraudscore-10`)                    |
| **Device Filter**         | `_device-<type>`              | OS/device type: `windows`, `unix`, or `apple`                         |
| **Connection Stability**  | `_activesince-<minutes>`      | Minimum IP connection duration (e.g., `_activesince-120`)                 |
| **ISP Filter**            | `_isp-<provider>`             | Specific internet provider (e.g., `_isp-comcast`)                        |
| **ASN Filter**            | `_asn-<number>`               | Autonomous System Number filter (e.g., `_asn-AS7922`)                      |
| **Zipcode Targeting**     | `_zip-<zipcode>`              | Specific postal code area (e.g., `_zip-90210`)                            |
| **HTTP3/QUIC Support**    | `_http3-1`                    | Enable modern HTTP3/QUIC protocol compatibility                           |
| **UDP Protocol Support** | `_udp-1`                      | Full UDP protocol support (Enterprise only - manual activation required)   |
| **Extended Pool**         | `_extended-1`                 | Access 4-6x larger IP pool (cannot combine with other expert filters)     |
| **Geo Source**            | `_geosource-<source>`         | Database used to resolve geo filters, default `ipapi` (no multiplier)      |
| **Response Caching**      | `_cache-<types>`              | Cache static assets, e.g. `_cache-images` (requires certificate setup)     |

**Dashboard Monitoring**  
Your account dashboard shows:
- Actual bandwidth consumed  
- Multiplier-induced extra usage  
- Real-time multiplier values

**Optimization Tips**  
1. Start with 1-2 critical filters  
2. Monitor success rates vs bandwidth costs  
3. Use `extended-1` for large-scale operations  
4. Combine geographic filters with quality parameters
